No Obligation

So then, brothers, we are not obligated to the flesh to live according to the flesh, for if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. All those led by God's Spirit are God's sons.  (Romans 8:12-14 HCSB)

Have you ever bought one of those products from television after they give you the "no obligation" clause.  It usually goes like this.  "And remember, you are under NO OBLIGATION to keep this product after you have received.  Simply return the product within 30 days and we will completely refund your entire purchase price. (Excluding shipping and taxes.)  So why wait?  Act now while supplies last.  This offer is only available for a limited time."  The problem is, you end up feeling like you are under obligation anyway.  Things are done in such a way that you will feel guilty if you send the product back.  Shipping, handling and taxes all end up costing so much that you wonder about the value of taking the time to send it back.  Even then, you don't end up "whole" because you spent time and money on a product you now don't have.

That's the way Satan works.  He flashes a life in front of you that somehow seems better than the one you were designed by God to live.  He tries to get you to buy in, telling you that there is no obligation and you can leave any time you want.  Then, if you do try to leave, you realize that the cost involved was great.  You spent a bunch of time and money on something that didn't satisfy, then when you get out you are now "whole".  You feel under obligation to stay in that lifestyle, buying his product, living the life you know is no good.

It's all a lie.

You are not under obligation to stay.  You are not under obligation to keep buying the enemy's garbage.  You don't have to live that way.  You can follow the truth.  You can throw away the lies.  You can forgive and let go of the hurt and pain.  You can live the life God designed you to live.  You can experience the garden walk...in all circumstances.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 NIV)

This offer ends when Jesus returns or you leave this life - whichever comes first. Act now while supplies last.
