Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (Philippians 4:8 TNIV)
The world can give me good or bad boxes. People can give me good or bad boxes. Even my own mind can have good or bad boxes simply "appear" from the spiritual world. So what can I do about it? Simple. Will can sort things out. Will has total control. Will can do anything he want with those boxes. So what can will do?
Well, sometimes we don't know what to do with a thought. Perhaps we're just too busy. Maybe we simply don't have enough information to process the thought yet. Maybe we simply don't want to deal with it. So where does it go? It hits the "Still Thinking" pile.
Thinking about something can take time. It's the short-term memory place. It's the place were we pile stuff we want to keep at the "front of our mind." The "Still Thinking" pile can be a good thing - helping us keep "good boxes" fresh in our memory for easy access. Throw bad boxes in there, though, and the pile begins to stink.
