The Obsessed...See

"He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since He is Lord of heaven and earth, He doesn't live in man-made temples, and human hands can't serve His needs—for He has no needs. He Himself gives life and breath to everything, and He satisfies every need. From one man He created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and He determined their boundaries. (Acts 17:24-26 NLT)

Someone obsessed with God sees God everywhere.  They see a sunrise and think of God providing warmth for us.  They see a tree and think of His provision of food and fresh air through His Creation.  Everywhere they go and everything they see reminds them of Him, His Provision, His Love, and His Presence.  They see Him everywhere...and they are glad.

"His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him—though He is not far from any one of us. For in Him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, 'We are His offspring.' And since this is true, we shouldn't think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone. "God overlooked people's ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now He commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to Him. (Acts 17:27-30 NLT)

They not only see Him everywhere today, but they look forward to seeing Him in the next life.  The idea of a judgement day no longer frightens them, because they have already returned to Him through the saving work of His Son.  They already read His Word and talk with Him all the time, so they look forward to meeting their friend face to face.  They know that the life to come is far greater than the life we have experienced here, so they look forward to that life...with God...for eternity.

The obsessed see Him today and look forward to seeing Him more clearly in the future.  Are you obsessed?
