Can Women Teach?

If you came here to find out whether women can teach or not in a church context, I thank you for checking in.  I had originally posted this blog entry in an attempt to organize my thoughts before having a 15-minute meeting with someone.  To all of you who put up with reading my post for the day, I thank you for your faithfulness in checking here.

The meeting went well and the person I met with asked me to forward my write-up on the subject to him once I have it together.  As you may have guessed, this will be the place I put my write-up on the subject...but not yet.

My primary desire of this blog and its posts centers around empowering you to walk together with God.  Since it is a blog, I will often weave my own story into the posts so you can see the Biblical Principles in practice in my life.  I want you to know that you, too, can experience a Garden Walk together with God.

Ladies, everything I have discussed up until this point in My Garden Walk equally applies to men and women, so the idea of breaking out any "women-specific teachings" simply doesn't make sense at this time.  In addition, we have quite a ways to go still.  There is still much of the picture I haven't shared with you yet.  That should be the highest priority.

As such, I will begin writing again about my Garden Walk (and how you can experience it as well), starting with tomorrow morning's post.  When we reach a point where Biblical Scholars and Theologians begin to struggle over the roles of men and women, I will address the subject at that time.  (I will send my thoughts to the person who asked for them at that time as well.)

Thank you for reading these posts.  I hope you find them helpful in developing your walk together with God.  I look forward to sharing more with you.  I hope you look forward to reading more.

Serving you in Him,
Pete
